    The Texas Alpha Endowment Fund proudly presents a dynamic speaker series and personalized one-on-one conversations designed to connect undergraduates with accomplished alumni across diverse career fields and professions. This initiative facilitates meaningful dialogue and mentorship in areas such as technology, finance, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and the arts, providing students with tailored insights and guidance.   • Cocktail Hour & Dinner Banquet

    The iconic DKR Stadium will come alive with excitement as the UT Club hosts a spectacular cocktail hour and banquet honoring 121 years of Texas Alpha tradition. Alumni, spouses, undergraduates, and friends will gather in an inspiring setting to enjoy an exceptional dinner accompanied by lively conversation and reconnecting bonds. The evening will culminate in a distinguished awards program celebrating the achievements and dedication of members past and present, reflecting the innovative spirit that has defined Texas Alpha for over a century.     The Texas Alpha Endowment Fund proudly presents an awards program that honors the remarkable personal and professional accomplishments of alumni across multiple decades, alongside outstanding undergraduates recognized for exemplary leadership. This distinguished event highlights the enduring commitment of Texas Alpha’s community, celebrating the invaluable time, talent, and treasure invested in advancing our legacy. By shining a spotlight on these trailblazers, the program not only acknowledges past achievements but also inspires future generations to innovate, lead, and contribute meaningfully to the fraternity and beyond.

Awards & Recognitions

The Texas Alpha Alumni Achievement Awards are presented annually at the Founders Day Banquet. They were created by Bro. Wilton Stone Sr., ‘52, to give long-due recognition to older Phi Psi alumni for their career accomplishments on behalf of the fraternity, in public life, and in the private sector.

They should also serve to build the fraternity’s history and traditions. Finally, it. is hoped that these awards will help inspire the ambitions of current members with examples of service and success provided by their older Phi Kappa Psi brothers.

  • Recognizes significant service to Texas Alpha Chapter and/or Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity as a whole by young alumni, was first presented to Bros. Scott Noble ‘81, Brent Monteleone ‘84, and Darrell Spaulding ‘90.

  • Recognizes significant career achievement in public life including government, military, the arts, religion, education, and medicine. was first presented in 2000 to Bros. Lloyd Hand ‘48, and Jamie Clements ‘49.

  • Recognizes significant career achievement in private business endeavors, was first presented to Bro. Tex Schramm ‘40.

  • Recognizes significant contributions to Texas Alpha by a Phi Kappa Psi brother initiated by another chapter, was first presented in 2000 to Bro. Will Wilson, Oklahoma Alpha ‘31.

  • Award honors an alumnus whose career reflects exceptional achievement and leadership in military or government service. This award recognizes those who have demonstrated courage integrity and dedication to the public good while upholding the highest ideals of duty and service. Their accomplishments stand as a lasting example of commitment to country and community.

  • Recognizes outstanding lifetime service to Texas Alpha Chapter and/or Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity as a whole. This award, named for Bro. George Nelson Lytle ‘04, the “Father of Texas Alpha”, was first presented in 1999 to Bros. Nelson Puett ‘38, Tom James ‘48, and Tom Rodman ‘49.
